SOLD: AKG K340 electrostatic/dynamic hybrid

For sale is a pair of AKG K-340 headphones. These combine use of electret drivers for the treble and a dynamic driver for the lower mids and bass..

I am not sure which of how other K340 sound, but I dont feel this one lacks bass at all (when a seal is achieved). And the treble is crystal clear to me.

 

It works perfectly. Earpads probably need replacing or restuffing as one is completely flat (and therefore wont give a good seal), they use the same pads as AKG K240 which are easily available. Also the headpad has been replaced as the original one tore.

Elastics seem ok.

Quite interrested..

Are these modded in any way beyond having replaced the headband? Also, what type did you replace the original headband with?
