Some new Alternative Rock/Metal suggestions?

Recently Ive been going back to early/mid 90's grunge cuz I just dont find anything interest these days although I admitedly know very little of whats going on in the alternative and prog worlds of today.

Id like to be introd to anything post 2000 that you think is worth listening to, based on my love for all the 90's classics:

Soundgarden

Nirvana

Pearl Jam

AIC

Rage

Radiohead

TOOL

and similar to some recent material too:

Cave In

Chevelle

Incubus

Dredg

Deftones

The Mars Volta

Porcupine Tree

I'll take anything related any genre above but I want high quality music; the great bands of tomorrow.

Thanks!

I know BTS; definitely not what im looking for but thanks for the rec either way.

They are way too lite; IMO not reminiscent or similar to any of the bands above.

I don't know how similar they might be to the bands listed, but have you heard A Perfect Circle and Disturbed?

Blue October is a good one, a little on the light side though. Foiled for the last time is a great album.

Bush is a great band as well.

I'm going to like this thread a lot, it's going to keep me busy. =D

Godsmack

Slipknot

Great bands to listen to.

Some of my favorites:

The Replacements

Bloc Party

Spoon

The National

Dave Matthews

Sorry, that's it for alternative. Keep in mind that I listen to mostly indie bands. Some of the listed may not even explicitly be alternative.

I dont know anything by Godsmack or Slipknot as I always wrote them off as commercial, non-talented bands.

I could very well be wrong; where to start?

Already a big Incubus fan :)
