Well, regardless of their questionable contractual decisions, I'm a fan of all the previously listed bands.  Its about the music, after all.

i'm a big monica fan(i pre-ordered still standing) and i also love erykah badu very much but i'm surprised that still standing outsell new amerykah, at least amazon.com...

The Amazon list is based on what Amazon sells, the Billboard list, no doubt is gleaned from many music retailers, both brick & mortar and on-line

I think other people hit the nail on the head. Those are real CDs that people are buying. Most people don't do that unless they are real music lovers like us.

 

And I second the post about the Brendan Perry album.
