Welcome to the second group buy for the Carrie Amp. Read about the first here. The PCB will be more or less the same as before. If you're interested, send me a PM with the following information:
- Full name
- PayPal address
- Number of boards
- Number of kits
In addition, you'll have to make a post in this thread with the aforementioned information minus the PayPal address.
Prices will be different from before, but I will update them here when I find out numbers. Last time, the PCB was about $10 and the kit was $75, but the kit might be a bit higher than that this time around.
The last PCB didn't work well with some laptops and MacBooks, and that hasn't been alleviated. The current workaround is getting a dual USB cable from a great source like Monoprice, but that also limits you to getting the grubDAC.
My biggest caveat is that this group buy will take a really long time. I'll be missing for two weeks in August, and I'm busy most weekends. I don't expect to get anything shipped before October. I'll be doing a lot more kits, I'm sure, so that will add to the complexity and time. And since we'll probably be dealing with more people this time, I'm going to make a hard cut off date of September 15, 2010. Get your PMs in quickly, and spread the word.
