Does either of these support LAME ? What would be the best format to rip CD's into for these players? Also, do both of these have the same DAC's?

Yes, they both support LAME. They share a lot of parts under the skin......and sound identical. However, they do support AAC too, albeit not lossless. I used V0 and V2 LAME files on them and they worked great.
Thanks! So you would go the V0 or V2 route or would you use AAC 320? Also, what ripper would you use? Thanks!
