Price: $old (Paypal Gift) + shipping

These are the anniversary Gold SR325i. I absolutely love the sound of these headphones, but it's time to part with them as I upgraded to the RS1i. There is a bit fading on the letters for both the L/R blocks as well as the SR325 button. They will also come housed in the black velvet bag shown in the picture.

feel free to PM if you have any questions

A member asked me about my impressions on these SR325i in a PM, so I'll cut and paste my reply.

"As for my impressions on the SR325i, I absolutely loved them. There were my first full size (aside from the none audiophile Sony ones from before), I had jump into this hobby from the cursed TF10 sale on amazon. I said cursed because ever since I have been hooked and have spent close to 2k on my portable and none portable combined... burn a hole through my pocket straight into the center of the earth...

I initially loved the sound of the TF10, as there were clearer than anything that I have ever owned. The sound stage is wide (at least for an IEM) and the bass is heavy. This became my reference point when I picked up the SR325i. When I picked up the SR325i, I had it running out of a Mini^3 and found that the highs were really bright. The good thing was that I was thoroughly impressed with the detail and the intimacy of the sound. After a day or so, I think my ears finally settled with the highs and I found the TF10s highs not as satisfying ever since. The highs on these really make female vocal pop, and also makes classical music fantastic sounding. These phone aren't without their faults though. I found that the highs don't match well with every music, and the detail it has is not a good combination with poor quality music.

I did find the perfect solution for the highs, the flats. I would use the bowls for music that has more vocal, or instrumental (you really should listen to Rodrigo y Gabriela with these, they are absolutely sick!), and use the flats for music that is more sibilant and wants more bass (like Love the way you lie by eminem and Rhianna). These were so good that I found myself wondering how good the upper Grado's can sound and decided to upgrade.

Truthfully, I found the RS1i's highs not as satisfying as the SR325i. The difference is that the RS1i provides and slight more detail sound and a slight increase in bass with a bit wider sound stage. I really questioned myself on whether or not I made the right decision on the RS1i's. But as usual, after about a week's listen of the RS1i, I have now gotten to like its sound. Although I like its sound, I really believe the price difference way too much for the sound quality increase. That is really how much I really like the SR325i. I'm sure not everyones will have the same taste in sound, but I really believe the SR325i hits the sweet spot for sound quality/price."
