$200 for B stock is pretty sweet, though. These Asgards are just flying off the shelves. Good for Schiit.

650+amp=good

 

650 no amp=? not so good

 

Get the best amp you can afford, listen at a meet if possible, that's what I did and it worked.

Then again, I am always amazed at how good the iPod line out sounds on either of my millett MAXs.

 

Still, it is about the entire chain, from source to driver. Optimize the entire path.

With that being said, does anyone have a good DIY "iMod" (gen 4)? Haven't really found a decent one as of yet, and I'd really like to take advantage of that fantastic DAC. Thanks.
