WWYD - Turntable or DAC? - Page 6

I solved simillar task somewhen and I went with HDP, despite I had a nice vinyl collection of 240 disks. I choose digital for convenience, there are too much hassles with vinyl. Being missing for analog sound, now I am seeking a better DAC, probably some multi-bit, NOS, tube buffered.

Just curious as to what you guys think.  Go with the rational DAC or the somewhat more "romantic" turntable and use the extra money I would save on some records?  Any experience with the WA6 and vinyl would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

And I liked WA3 with vinyl and HD650. Though I've been thinking of a brighter cans with bigger dynamics, like Grado, DT990, K701. HD650 and vinyl combo was too compressed, and this wasn't WA3 fault. I beleive HD650 is compessed and generally tuned for digital sound. Vice versa, Grado is born for vinyl sources.
