Any idea how much a British shorthair kitten might cost (in the US) ?

just wondering.

 

Doesn't have to be pure, but needs to have all the classical features (round, chubby, dense coat). Preferably a blue.

I'm no expert on kittens, so you may have to take my advise with a grain of salt.

 

But in my best estimation, I would say it probably cost more than five eggs and a coconut.

the Swedish organic coconut cables ( Patrick is selling those) are mighty expensive....

 

I checked the web, it looks like pure breed is about $600~$1k. In the ad's they call all kinds of cats "british shorthair", as long as the hair is not long..... even something that looks more like a siamese!

 

But even the $1k pure breed doesn't look that classic either, either not blue or blue but with stripes.
