And what the point, thee is no problem with lending someone there headphones. If you guys think im a scammer you are way off, if you want to see more feedback i can provide that. But assuming that im a scammer way off.

No one is saying you're a scammer. But photos would be nice.

And in all my time on Head-fi, no one has offered to rent my gear. $50 for my $1400 headphones just didn't make sense for me.

Well im 14, so i dont have money coming out of my butt, ok, so im asking for a reasonable price. Not 1 million dollars to loan them out for a week or so.

So in my position (a cynical 38 year old)...I have a set of $1400 headphones and some kid on the internet wants to give me $50 for my HD800s....mmmm...how does "no" sound.

Your thread trying this was shut down by a moderator as it was "fishy" at best. Now you're trying to sell "your friend's gear" without photos...Spidey sense tingling.

And if you lost or damaged them (when I was 18, a habit my 14 year old younger brother really got into)...what then?

I'm out $1350 bucks.

Just saying....

I can then take out $1100 out of my bank and buy you a new perfectly good pair of Sennheiser HD800

The headphones are for sale too, can cut a deal if you are looking to purchase both. They are a good combo together.

Headfive still available?
