ER20 Baby Blues don't even fit?

I just got several pairs (and these are the smaller ones, remember) for my brother's band and I. My bro says he's getting a seal, but I haven't been able to get one—the third flange sticks out. I didn't think my ear canals were that small; I use the bigger stock tips that come with the FX34 Marshmallows.

 

Advice? May I just need to keep fooling around until I see how they fit?

Have you tried Comply tips? Perhaps the Etymotic foam tips.

 

I also have issues with the Ety tri-flanges (both sizes - white are toooooooo big, blue are too long, and uncomfortable)

No, I haven't tried any other tips (I don't really have any other IEM type tips save my Marshmallow ones).
