Up for sale is my pair of AKG 340's modded by Headphile. They are 2 meters long with the Black Gold cable option and are terminated with a 4 pin XLR. This is the version 2 AKG K340 mod. They also come with a certificate of authenticity. They can easily be terminated with a 1/4" or 1/8" plug or 2 3 pin XLR's if you need to.
They are very clean and show almost no wear considering their age. The headband adjusters are very tight and have no slack. I have less than 100 hours on them so they'll sound even better as time goes on. The earpads have no cracks and the trim rings have only a few minor marks on them. I don't know if these are bass heavy, mid, or light but Larry will tell you that there is no difference. He's heard more pairs of K340's than you can imagine so i trust that statement. I'm selling them because I have to thin out my collection to make room for other projects. I have over $600 invested in them
