Sennheiser HD800 for sale (NEW, full warranty) SOLD!

I am selling Sennheiser HD800 headphones. They have been purchased less than a week ago and have the full warranty.

I spent a long time getting information on different headphones available out there and ultimately decided to go for Sennheiser HD800 headphones. I may not be the most enthusiastic audiophile and while the headphones do sound amazing, I feel that for my needs, I should have purchased some closed headphones.

I would like to sell the Sennheiser HD800 headphones for about $1300 but the price is negotiable (if you can make me an offer, perhaps we could work something out). I am trying to recover some money at least and deal with whatever loss I am left with.

If you are interested, please contact me:

Phone#: 514-295-5667

Email: svict2@hotmail.com

I live in Canada, Montreal, but could ship it.

Thank you,

   Victor Samoshkin

Below are some pictures of the headphones (sorry for the low quality) as well as a copy of the receipt. You will notice that it says "no refunds" at the bottom. I know this is no excuse on my part, but I did not even notice that until after the purchase.

Without more information (track record/feedback etc.) and actual pictures of your headphones, most people will be apprehensive in buying this from you.

I rarely sell anything online and just recently found this site. The best thing would be to find a buyer who lives in the same city as me, that is why I specified my location.

If anyone is interested and contacts me through email or calls me, I will give all the information I can. I am not sure if there is a way to make the sale safer or if I selling it through ebay is easier, but I am willing to do what it takes to make this as convenient for the person interested in acquiring the item.

You should post pictures with a card or piece of paper with your head-fi user name on it in the pictures of the headphones.

If you just bought it a week ago, then why not simply return it and get a full refund?

I wanted to thank everyone for the helpful comments. I took some pictures and scanned my receipt. They should indicate that my headphones are indeed real and not a figment of my imagination :)

I hate to add to the discussion, but it's in the best interest and safety for all head-fiers - why does your receipt say a balance of $1400?  Did you only put down $224.99 on credit?

Oh I didn't even notice that...They put one copy of my receipt inside the headphone's box, and another one was given to me (which is why it is folded and not as straight and neat as the last one)

I think they made a copy of it before I had paid them in full and then processed my payment and only wrote that I paid the balance on one copy. I suppose I should also send a video of myself holding the headphones. In any case I highly doubt that the store owned would have let me go home with the headphones if I had 1400 to pay still.

Yea I think it's getting a bit ridiculous now. Video won't be necessary.

No store would let you take the cans home without paying for it in full.

How about a DNA sample to confirm that you are indeed what the name on the receipt says, as well as a copy of your driver's license and passport.

Nah I'm just kidding lol. Killer cans you got there. GL with the sale!

I got quite a few offers for my HD800, but most of them involved people who were mysteriously unavailable to meet in person and absolutely wanted to send me a check or money order. I can't help but feel very suspicious...

Does anyone have tips when dealing with this issue? Something tells me that every offer I got was a scam!

STAY AWAY from check and money orders, especially at that price! Paypal is your best bet. Sure they ding you the 3% but it's much safer. I would take cash only if you are doing the transaction in person.

Good luck with the sale though, I hope it goes smoothly.

Thank you

Paypal eCheck is only $5 fee max. I'd stay away from personal checks and money orders, the only exception is a USPS money order which you can cash right away at the post office.

Money Order is cash, cheque well you wait for it to clear before shipping.  Its annoying but frankly its how we did it on AudioGon before PayPal was trusted.  Sellers can't be scammed ;)
