I am selling my 80Gb 5.5g iMod video, done by Vinnie at Red Wine Audio. It's in great condition and sounds great. I have many iMod accessories that I'm willing to sell separately or as a package, but I'd really like to sell at least one of the 4 iMod docks below with it if possible.
1) I recently replaced the 5.5G 80Gb iMod battery with an extended capacity battery at Voelker Research in Colorado Springs. The screen has always had a protector, and the one on it is in good shape. It's still got the same clear body protector that it had when the iMod was done, and Vinnie did have to cut through the clear protector to get the iPod open to mod it. But the clear plastic still protects the iMod although it is starting to peel off at the corners. You can put a new skin on the body, but be sure to save the iMod decal that vinnie stuck to the bottom of the iMod. I have velcro on the iMod to connect an amp as well.
2) I have an ALO Audio Jumbo Cryo Silver X iMod LOD for plugging it directly into a portable amp, which I felt was extremely close in sound to an SXC LOD that I compared it to many months ago. It was good enough that I didn't feel a need to upgrade.
3) I also have a portable Vcap dock, which you would want to use with a non-iMod LOD and a mini-mini interconnect, to connect it to a portable amp (not included). It also has RCA outputs for a desktop amp. I have velcro on both sides of the Vcap dock to connect it under the iMod, and to connect an amp under the Vcap dock. The nice thing about this Vcap dock is that the input is on one end, and the mini and RCA outputs are on the other end. This makes it easier to use the Vcap dock with a desktop amp by letting the RCA cable to run out towards the back of the desk or shelf, while still being able to read the LCD display.
SOLD - The iMod cost $, LOD $, and Vcap Dock $= $. I would take $+ shipping CONUS for the whole thing above. Basically, that's like getting the Vcap dock for free. As separates I would take $for the iMod, $for the ALO LOD, and $for the Vcap dock (plus shipping).
4) If you need a decent RCA interconnect for this, I have a separate sale thread for 1m Joe Grado Ultra-Wide Bandwidth RCA. I would lower the price to $150 in a package deal with the iMod and Vcap dock.
5) I also have a nice ALO iMod LOD to RCA cable, which I think is two feet long (might be longer), for which I would take $. In the package deal for everything I'd sell this for only $ more. For only $ I would sell an iMod LOD > RCA cable made by barqy (with techflex sleeve) which I think is about 18" long. I don't have a photo of my personal cable right now, but it looks like this:
Sorry for the lousy iPhone pictures:
