Need Help With CMoy Parts

Thread Starter

I built a β22 last September as my first DIY project and loved it. It got up and going quickly with no real hang-ups. I loved everything about the process so much that I bragged about it to the rest of my family. Now my kid brother (12) wants to do his own project and I thought a simple CMoy would be a great start for him. The only problem is, I have no idea where to start. I don't even know where I can find a BoM, let alone source the parts (other than Mouser or Digi-key) (if I'm not allowed to say mention the names of those places, I'm sorry and will remove them). Could someone please point me in the right direction? I'm going to be watching him for the next 3 weeks and I leave on Monday the 19th and would like to have the parts ordered before I go. Thanks so much in advance!

I agree, Tangents site is an excellent resource.

OPA2134 is a great chip to start with, easy to use

and sounds decent. If you use an IC socket then

you can do some op amp rolling in the future.
