Thanks guys, I just bought a pair of LA2000 Lites from crazybovine today, so I'm no longer looking!

That's just the thing -- how can I make an offer on something without any information? LOL! I'd need to know everything about them -- how old they are, how many hours, any problems/issues/scratches, what wood he used, pictures, full LA2000 or Lite, etc.

I just received a used pair of Silky Oak/J$ LA2000 Lite headphones from crazybovine today.  I've been putting them through their paces for only a couple hours, hooked up to my also relatively new Fiio E7 headphone amp/USB DAC (got it on Saturday), and WOW...  They are amazing!  They actually have just as wide a soundstage as my old semi-open AH-D950's from 9 years ago, which is unexpected from a fully closed set of cans!  This could be attributed partially to the J$ pads.  They actually are absolutely AMAZING for oldies music -- I'm not sure why, but holy crap they've brought new dimension to my old music (meaning 50's and 60's)!  I tried it with a level of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and I was hugely impressed them there as well.  They have very strong bass response (they can get crazy if you push bass boost), but were a tad muffled on the high end, which I easily remedied by tweaking the EQ in iTunes.  They truly sing now!  VERY "lush" and "full" for sure. They blow the AH-D1001's out of the water, and definitely beat out my AH-D950's.  Wow, I'm glad I got this combo!
