FS: Etymotic ER-4P w/ dead left channel

These are my ER-4Ps, I used them pretty regularly over a period of 3-4 years before the right channel gave out on me. These are the old style, red/blue ones. If you hold the right driver's wire a certain way at the resistor pod, the sound comes back on, so I think the weak link is somewhere in the resistor pod. Could be an easy fix for a DIY'er - or maybe you want them for other tinkering purposes!

sorry, that should be dead RIGHT channel (the red one!) 

 

Also the driver is fine - it's just the wire that's got a wonky connection somewhere

FWIW I can't seem to find the etymotic brand 1/8-1/4 plug nor the extra filters. So this is just for the official case, manual, IEMs, triflanges, and bag of foamies (unless I can find the other accessories). (I did recently change the filters too before they crapped out so the filters are pretty new).

 

I've replied to all PMs, but will be away til tomorrow evening - I'll make the decision before the weekend. Thanks everybody
