Hey, I recently purchased the DJ1 Pro S-Logic headphones from Ultrasone. I've been enjoying them alot: great sound, nice sound isolation, very comfortable.

However, when using the 1/4 to 3.5mm adapter that came with the headphones in my ipod recently, I noticed the left ear phone started cutting out.

After a while it progressively got worse, and I ended up bringing the Ipod to an apple store. What came next made me a very sad panda. Apparently the IPod isn't designed for such a large adapter, and the weight of it combined with the heat (due to use), caused the metal inside the IPod headphone jack to bend out of place.

In short, the adapter that came with my new 260 dollar headphones broke my IPod (which has no warrenty now), costing me 100 dollars to fix.

Though, I don't blame Ultrasone as a company for this one; I would much like to see some sort of suggestion when purchasing these headphones, or even a real IPod cable that comes with purchase, so that others due not fall into the same unfortunate situation I have. Apple is at fault here for making a flimsy device that is intended for only certain headphone use. However, Ultrasone could truly take the precausations needed to deter anyone from making the same mistake I did.

I know that I purchased the Pro-DJ line, intended for home audio use. But I, being an avid music lover, also would enjoy using the headphones for portable music. Who wouldn't?

Anyways, the whole IPod thing is beside the fact. What bothers me is that now, after spending the money to fix my IPod, I being a Canadian citizen am unable to order the real Ultrasone IPod cable off of the website. I'm also having a hell of a time finding one anywhere on the internet that would actually ship to Canada.

What I'm hoping is that JUST this once, Ultrasone could ship to a loyal Canadian customer? I mean, the Ipod thing is unfortunate, but I really just want to be able to purchase the appropriate product so this does not occur again.

Or perhaps, if anyone knows of a Canadian Ultrasone dealer that would ship to British Columbia, that might work too.

Thanks guys, and it would make this Canuck very happy.
