Looks interesting, anyone own one or have experience with specs of DACs that can rate this?

It "just" utilizes the PCM2702 and should be something like a "pimped" version of the AlienDAC. Those specs are the theoretical ones of the chip - the actual technical specs of the whole device will probably be much lower.

It seems to be a nice little DAC but I (!) wouldn't spend 120 bucks when you can get a TE7022/WM8740 combo for around $150.

Just my 2 cent.

thanks for the info,

does anyone have any recommendations for a DAC for my rig in my sig?

next set of cans is akg k701 or senn hd600. hence the amp capable of powering higher cans than the grado :D

The seller had been interested in sending me a loaner for review, but then stopped replying. I'm not sure if they are just busy/on vacation or just lost interest in the idea. Wish I could help, sorry.... it looked interesting to me too.

I would try the Hot Audio stuff from ebay. I hear good things about the  DAC Extasy which is $140. Or for a few more $$$ the Audinst HUD-mx1 is quite good at $180.
