I'm using Doge 6210 amp. It sounds fantastic IMO.

So you are going from the Onkyo dock to your Cambridge dac to your headphone amp.

I just won this Onkyo component, and I was under the impression it already had a DAC in the dock, but I guess that's not the case.

Hope this will be a good match with the D1as well :)

I will soon be getting a custom PSU for the Onkyo dock and DacMagic. Will report the results in a week.

where can I buy the Onkyo docks to use with my DAC?

Mine came directly from the head office, but I think you can get in in their online store and then there's amazon

I'm sure they have a dealerlist on their site as well.

Thanks,

Vinnie at Red Wine Audio told me check eBay. Several were there. I just ordered a silver one from Japan for $200 delivered. I am going to get the Dac-Magic in silver, looks like a good fit for my space. I'll be running it through my Cambridge Azur 640-A amp and PSB Imagine T tower speakers. Also will connect my 640-C CD player to the DAC to upsample the songs. 6th gen iPod with hi def flac tracks from HD Tracks, 1100 bps resolution. It should sound great!
