Fiio L3 or L6 cable for ipod.

So i orderd an L3 line out cable for my ipod but instead they sent an L6 for a sanza fuze. to my surprise it fit in the ipod and works very well with my mini3 amp.  I'm just worried if i'm missing anything using the L6 cable instead of the L3. Anyone have any input here?

I'd definitely get that swapped out. The L3 is smaller and is internally different. The L6 has some additional components inside.

thanks, i' was using it this morning and was trying to compare the pin outs, but i'll stop using it until head-direct sends me the L3. They've already been contacted and are sending out another cable today.

It turns out they caught the problem before I did and when I sent them an e-mail they had a tracking number waiting for me. :)
