Mix done on ATH-M50

Thread Starter

So, I recently purchased my M50 for the purpose of doing mixes on my personal projects. I want to know what some of you M50 owners, or anyone else with different cans thinks of a song I mixed and recorded.

Here it is on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx8rnvUcsLw

Here it is hosted in WAV: http://www.mediafire.com/?jkdnmjwzzujgdzz

Thanks! Lemme know what you all think

I thoroughly enjoyed this.  I feel as if the beat gets a little "ahead of" itself sometimes, but it all works out in the end. I especially like the fret noise that occasionally comes off the bass.

hey, not bad.

when it started, i thought it was going to be a cover of three dog night's one.  ("one is the loneliest number that you'll ever do")

Good to know that the M-50s are a decent option for mixing. Bought mine for the purpose (as well as tracking) a while ago. Great headphones, especially for the money. I just haven't had any recording inspiration recently, so I don't have anything to mix with them... :(

Yeah, they have good detail level for some studio use/mixing...they do pretty well on many music genres.
