I would like to do a straight trade for my Westone UMX3s: Shure SE530 IEMs.
My Westone UMX3:
- excellent condition;
- purchased from fellow head-fi'er recently;
- box, manual, case, and tips.
Your Shure SE530:
- excellent working condition;
- included tips;
- don't care about boxes or manual; just case and tips.
Reason for trade:
- I love the UMX3 for certain music: female vocals and acoustic instruments - divine sound. I actually prefer them to my desktop AKG 701s.
- BUT, for me, they seem to have this 'veil' that tends to obscure details in other types of music.
- I'm told that seal is important so I've tried three different kinds of tips (diff. sizes of foam and gel tips).
- I'm told by some that the UMX3 doesn't have a lot of bass. Don't know what they're talking about: the bass is very good (I feel it). Maybe it's my ear canal, I don't know...
I am an honest person and if there are any issues, we can return the IEMs.
I will post pics soon.
Thanks.
