I have had this for a while now and consider it to be one of the best cassette players around. I was going to be doing some recording with some mics I made but it turns out my PMD430 has a problem. It has a buzz!
NOT THIS BUZZ!
If I touch the metal parts within the transport the buzzing becomes a hum while also producing some crackle. It sounds like a loose wire or grounding problem to me but I have extremely little electronic experience and I can't afford to send it in to a tech.
Can anyone help?
