My dad has a friend who has something to do with the school so it was recommended to me. My friend goes to U of I and doesn't really like it, but that's more likely his personal preference than a basis of the school.

It's not a true ortho thread unless there's some off topicness.

 

And that's a pretty good price. They come on ebay once in a while for around $70 obo. I wouldn't be surprised if the seller took $60.

Mine were from Musician's Friend via Amazon.  If you have the smooth faced ear pads and not crinkly they should be new versions.  Unless there is some earpad swapping conspiracy.

Amazon's price went up from $74 to $89 this week. Music123 stayed at $74 and ordered 1 yesterday. Wuhoo!

not nearly as good.  bass especially is lacking.. i only tried it once (straight from ipod but it was a long time ago so i cant remember specifics...)  they didnt sound bad persay... just not as good.
