WTB: Broken DT880/990 250 ohm (or 600 ohm)

One of my DT990 250 ohm drivers recently broke so I'm looking for a replacement driver. If you have an extra driver laying around or a broken DT880/990 that you want to get rid of preferably 250 ohm (unless you have a 600 ohm with two working drivers), please let me know. Thanks!

Don't think this will help, but I have 860's.  They are only 32 ohm.  They are new and still work-my husband just cracked one side off.  If you don't need them, perhaps you have an idea for them or the parts, as you obviously know something of the mechanics.

Thanks for the offer. I don't think it'll work for the DT990s but I'm always looking for new projects. I'd love to see what I can do with them. How much were you thinking of letting them go for? Thanks again!

... thought I'd already replied to this, but since I didn't, here's another post.

I'm selling a pair of DT880 250ohm - excellent condition (no marks / dings) and sonically perfect - but unfortunately one of the earpads is slightly torn.

How about contacting Beyerdynamic and asking them?

Also according to the repair form you can get a replacement unit for $85

Thanks! It looks like I may have to go that route. I was kinda hoping to get a broken DT880/990 as a shell to do a little experimenting with as well but the pickings are a little slim. Thanks for reminding me. Still interested if you have a broken DT880/990.
