Hi
I am getting about $130 this week to buy headphones and don't which would be the best for an ipod unamped at work. I don't want to look too stupid so the bigger phones are a last resort. By the way, I love my grado 225 sound. Help!!!!
Hi
I am getting about $130 this week to buy headphones and don't which would be the best for an ipod unamped at work. I don't want to look too stupid so the bigger phones are a last resort. By the way, I love my grado 225 sound. Help!!!!
What about the Audio-Technica ES7?
I thought those were about $200? I would like a smaller profile headphone and would wear my 225's at work but after a few hours the ears start hurting. I was thinking the es9's but they don't look promising. I don't mind weak bass if everything else is a wow factor. My pk2's were a good compromise but they just broke and I am afraid to pick up another pair to have them break again in a year or 2.
OOPS. ES9's are $200. I'll include the ES7's too. Help!!!
How do the es7's compare relativiely to the grado 225's. I mean are they in your face kind of like them. Do they pack a punch like them. I am thinking I may like the es7's. How would they compare to the yuin pk2's? I liked those too. They reminded me of a sr80 sound sort of.
i have creative aurvana live phones which are denon d1001 clones, i would say they are the most comfortable portable i have ever tried.
apart from that, i cannot compare for sounds sake with other phones mentioned here, but they have a fun mid bass mid centric sound sig
bang for buck considering the creatives are much cheaper, i would look into these phones as a possible option.
plz note they have no isolation to speak of, even though they are closed, and if you like high sparkly highs, look elsewhere.
