Has anyone experienced poor customer service or even fraud from Headphonia? (Headstage Arrow amp)

I ordered a Headstage Arrow amp 8 weeks ago from headphonia.com, was told it would ship in 5, still haven't received anything.  They won't respond to my emails either -- I emailed them 7 days ago regarding the status of the order and still haven't received a response.  I emailed them again just now and I hope I will hear back from them, but I'm seriously concerned that they have taken my money and run.  Has anyone else had this kind of trouble with them? :\

Well I placed my order in early April and decided to cancel it in June. I did get my money back promptly so I don't think you have to worry too much.

I can't even begin to fathom how it would take so long to manufacture and build an amp, unless the demand was completely unprecedented whenever they announced this thing.

I won't hold my breath on getting a refund if they can't even respond to a simply order status inquiry within a week's time.

i asked for refund few weeks ago they did it next day.

What do you want most? The amp or a refund?  Personally, I'd check my spam folder to be doubly sure the replies haven't been lost, then I'd email them again stating that if you don't get a reply within a couple of days, you'll be opening a Paypal dispute and/or initiating a chargeback with your credit card company.  They'd be incredibly stupid not to reply to such an email, unless their spam management is deleting all your emails.

Oh, if they have a contact form on their web site, use that rather than regular email if you can.  Less likely to be deleted as spam.

dude dont fret.

Robert is working on the Arrow V2. its not finished yet. he's still modifying the firmware for the new microcontroller. he's very very confident that orders will be sent out this month.

he does take a while to respond to emails sometimes.

If you have read some of the other threads on this forum about Arrow 12E you will see that many have been waiting 2 and 1/2 months to three months for their arrow.

Unless the demand goes down you will probably not receive the amp until October. I have already been waiting six weeks and might have to wait another four to six weeks until it arrives.

I'm going to change my advice then: If it's a one-man shop, give them some slack and be patient.

For some reason I believe German firms are quite honest and committed in general. Just my opinion, of course.

I purchased from Robert a number of years ago when he was selling the penuine amps. I found it took a while for him to respond to emails but I also understood he was a one man band so cut him some slack!

Having said that So is Gary(PA2V2) and his communication is lightning fast!

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so alarmist. I had no idea it was a one man show, obviously that is much more reasonable.

So it's charged to your card once you order, not once it's about to ship? If there was only a week or so lag time between the two events, that would be alright, but if it's going to be several months he should just charge you once the amp is set to ship. Obviously, he's not a big company though, maybe he's just not set up for that...

Yeah, you just have to wait for few days and see what happens. All will be fine..sometimes it takes some days when companies are small.

Yeah, I've had my order in since April.  Its seems like Robert is the R&D, Manufacturer, Customer Support all in one.  Considering how well designed, nicely crafted and reasonably priced it is I can wait.  Once you wait for an Sflo2, you can wait for anything.
