That is all, though I picked up the older original 87 True RMS instead of the III or the V for $75. Can anyone shed some light on the differences between the series?

I can not comment on the differences between just about anything with any reliability, but I approve of this thread.

The series 87V is 4.5 digit, .05% basic DCV accuracy, 6000 count standard display, larger LCD, easier access battery door on the back.
