Thread Starter

This listing on ebay is, going by the below link to a guide to the K240s, is a late production sextett.

The headband appears to be a white AKG logo and the rim of the drivers is silver.

I do not think that the seller knows exactly what they are.

I am afraid it is MP rather than EP.

please refer to the pics of EP as the follow.

Those are in fact LPs. I've owned all three.

then the seller's 1980 description is not right. in fact in 1980, you can get a pair of EP rather than MP

Not to turn this into a discussion thread, but I think you are confused about either when the sextetts were actually made or confused about what ep,mp, or lp means.. In his description he states that they were from 1986. This was the time the lps were made. The original(ep) started cir. during the mid to late 70s.

they are likely LP's if they are in fact from 1986.  But they could be MP or even EP because you can't see the radiators in the pic.

Yeah you are right. If they are from 1986 as the seller states in the description, they are lps. Eps are from the late mid to late 70s.
