Review/Opinions on Studio Monitors (ADAM, Event, Mackie, Genelecs, Dynaudio) - Page 2

Hello, I'm currently enjoying some 8020's and yeah you could need a sub, or not, just like almost any other sub 1000 dollar speaker set.

And the Gen 7050 sub is truly amazing with an awesome tight bass if you were to go that way, though you could use any other sub for much cheaper.

The 8020's have fantastic bass for their size, are built like tanks, and in my mind are the equal or preferable to all in their price range.

There really is no magic bullet someone can pass to you, the Adam's feature ribbon tweeters, which annoy a large number of listeners, etc. Go listen, hopefully to some where else other than Guitar Center (may they rot in their own retail hell).

Sure, no problem. If you want more opinions on each of these monitors, you should try Gearlutz.
