I have one of these units that was modded by AudioSmile to improve the DAC capabilities. Don't know if these mods affect the HP output, but I've been using it as a HP amp with Beyerdynamic DT770/600s and DT880/600s and it sounds pretty decent. Anyone else have experience with the SRC2496 as a HP amp?
