for sale is a zhaolu D2C, 110V version.
Modifications and upgradeds (see picture for detail):
* all digital power supply caps changed to Nichicon N-Cap (ultra high ripple capacity);
* By-passed electrolytic signal caps between the DAC chip and Opamp stage.
* Added seperate transformer for digital power, now digital and analog power supplies are totally seperated.
* Took out the electrolytic signal caps that connects to the balance output. This DAC no longer have balanced signal-out, it is RCA only.
* Opamps upgraded to LME49720 x2 and LM4562 x1, to my ears this is the best combo, detailed and not harsh. I will also include a pair of Texas Instrument NE5532 (which for some reason sounds quite a bit better than my Rathyon NE5532), the 5532's don't have as much detail as the LME49720, but it some how gives more depth, desirable in some situations.
* Also included is a 6' CinemaQuest coax digital cable (SPDIF), made by AudioQuest.
