SOLD: Woo Audio WA5 LE

***SOLD***

You don't see this amp often for sale.  This is an essentially new, silver, stock WA5 LE.  The amp and stock tubes have about 20-30 hours (I did not do a burn-in).  I ordered it from Woo Audio in March of this year, and received it 4 weeks later in April.  I absolutely love it, but haven't had time to use it.  Furthermore, I just bought a house and plan to use the basement as the audio room, so I no longer need a headphone-based system anyway (I'll sell my HD800 soon after the amp).

It is literally in the exact same condition as the day I received it 2.5 months ago with all the original packaging and shipping crates (I had never seen such secure packaging before!).  So you'll get more or less a new amp, only without the month wait.

Check out wooaudio.com for more info and pictures.

If it isn't obvious, the camera caught the reflection from the tubes

(If it isn't obvious, what you see on the second photo are reflections from the tubes.)

I wanted this at CanJam 2010 I just couldn't swing the extra $1500, so I bought the WA 6 SE instead . Perhaps next year.

Goodluck

Fantastic looking amp!

Unfortunately we have no local dealer here for audition.

Good luck!

I don't believe Woo Audio has any local dealers, these amps are all built to order. The best place to take a listen to there product is at an audio show or find a local head-fier. Wonderful product

I forgot to mention that I'm open to trading for high-end separates or integrated amp (tube or SS) for a speaker-based system.  Depending on the trade/bluebook value of your gear, either you or I can pad the exchange with additional cash.

Can't you send it back to Woo audio to upgrade to the Woo5 non-LE version? Just a suggestion...

I suspect half of that is the cost of the crates and packaging material (they are quite substantial).  With that recognition, I just lowered my flat shipping rate from $150 to $100 (conus) for anyone interested.

I've removed the flat shipping charge and will simply charge the actual shipping cost in CONUS.  Two crates totaling 100 lbs should be around, if not less, than $100.
