Up for sale is my frankenstein'ed HD650. I think this is the best of all worlds in this custom Senn.

HD580 headband is lightweight and does not chip like the real HD650 headband

HD600 grills are stylish and effective

HD650 drivers, brand new, maybe 200 hours on them, they are they new version with silver screens.

HD650 cable

asking $SOLD obo shipped or trade for another can like a AKG702

Pictures to follow.

EDIT: Buyers in CONUS preferred but willing to ship internationally for added shipping cost depending on your location.

Someone asked a good question, what are the differences between the HD580/HD600/HD650 grills.

The HD580 were plastic and large holed.

The HD600 as seen in my pictures is black and metal

The HD650's are the same as the HD600 only a dark metallic silver color.

Here's a great link comparing the headphones:

According to the product description at the Headroom site ("What We Think"), the HD650 grills are not quite the same as the HD600's. The HD650 grills are supposed to be a bit sturdier and less prone to denting than the HD600 grills are. Not that it's a real big deal, but it is worth noting. Your customized Frankenphones do look awesome, however...

Thanks! Good to know.  I have have both the HD650 and these and frankly other than a slight color difference, I can't tell them apart.

Wow lots of confusion about this can. The HD580/HD600/HD650 all have interchangable parts. It requires no tools to take any of these headphones apart as they just snap together.

Here are some comparison pictures between a HD650 and these cans.

Grills look the same to me except the HD650 are lighter colored. Of course the drivers are identical.

HD650 on top, note it's glossy while these are more matte. Also the HD650 are prone to chipping, mine has specs of chipped off paint all along the edges, these do not suffer from this problem.

Nevermind..................I can't believe I missed that in the first post.

I'd be interested in them if my other deal falls through.

Would you be interested to trade it for a G&W T2.6f tube amp?
