SPL meter calibration

Bought a CM-130 Checkmate but i found that in needs to calibrated for proper results, Is there a way w/o using a calibration device?

Please help here,  Does anyone has exprience in calibrating thier device?

What are you using it for? Generally out of box pre-calibrated spl mic's are "good enough" for most general uses. If you still want to properly calibrate it then you must have a calibration device or send it to a calibrator. You can not calibrate something without a reference that is properly calibrated already.

It's for personal measuring, not preffesional but i'd still like it done b/c i bought it used. Can this be done at an audiologist?
