Hello, I have a pair of Westone UM1s that I bought in october of 2009. I have not used them a TON, but they have a nice amount of use on them. They show no wear and tear. I don't have the box, but I have the users manual and I registered them with westone for the 2 year warranty. I also have a new case, because the old one frayed. They sound very good, but I just got the hd280s, and I prefer them to the UM1s. That is just personal preference, that does NOT mean that the UM1s are bad phones. I used them for exactly 3/4 of a year, and I really liked them. They come with a few complys that I will sterilize.
