Electronica like "Sirens of the Sea" by Oceanlab

I'm not much into trance, but like the sound of Oceanlab.  Their album "sirens of the seas" is right up my alley. I really don't like industrial or really harsh electronica.  Please recommend sounds that are more relaxed like Oceanlab.  Thanks.

Look on Beatport or check out Myon and Shane 54(DJs and Producers)  they mix alot of vocal trance and that sounds like what you like

How about Portishead?

Also Mugasha.com is a good way to sample Myon and Shane 54s mixes among others

I don't know a lot of "chill" or this kind of relaxed kind of electronic music because i am more into uplifting melodic trance myself.  but the melodic are the same as the style you find in ocean lab.   in fact, maybe you already know this but "above & beyond" got some really great remixes for ocean lab tunes.

you can try "chicane" for a chilled, relaxed music.  check this out:

you can also try to listen to "above & beyond"...most of their stuff is pretty relaxed, although it can get a little trancy, but melodic and relatively relaxed stuff.

Some tracks by Faithless sound like they'd be right up your alley - try "We come 1"

*high five* I'm a big fan of melodic/vocal trance myself and here are my favorite tracks so far.

Andy Moor - Faces, She Move

John O Callaghan - Big Sky (Agnelli/Nelson Remix), Beauty hides in the deep

Beat Service- Cut and Run

Shogun- Imprisoned, Save me

Gareth Emery- Santuary

Max Graham- Nothing Else Matter (Ali and Fila remix)

Tydi- You Walk Away, Somehow

and of course Armin van Buuren- In and out of love, Never say never, Rain

Sounds from the Ground.

Virtually all of it. One track to get started: "Move On" featuring Taz on vocals.
