"Battle of the DAPs" HiFiMAN Comparison Review Posted

Due to Fang's generous support and the willingness to collaborate, I have now completed an exhaustive comparison review showcasing the HiFiMAN HM-801 against 3 other portable competing products.

 

This has taken a solid 3 weeks of effort to produce and I hope the Head-Fi.org community will appreciate it.

3 weeks are crazy amount of time!!! i should apologize for assuming it is minimum at least 6 hours of work

The actual transcribing of notes took about 6 hours that didn't include the photos, etc.  But there is a lot of research, collaboration and comparative listening that takes place before anything can be written up.  Then it's reaching out for comments to vendors, etc., to make sure there are no glaring technical errors or inaccurate statements.

 

The effort is significant, but I'm sure it can be streamlined somewhat as I get better doing it.  It's a learning process for me.

only if uni students these days do their paper like you instead of just wiki it without true reference and comparing :)
