Patrick I still have not have had any issue's with the T1 and frankly I am now left with just one mid offering the Denon 1001 for my ipod. I bout Sklylab Decware and that took the T1 up another two notches and the Matrix does real well with both my high end cans, The T1 is really IMO the ultimate headphone and I heard a bunch more at the NJ meet including Doug 16K system with the Seen HE90 and frankly I like my T1 better than all the Stax I heard and prefer it over the D7000 I own and my now gone AKG 701. Over the 701 they were a huge step up and to me and my stem I still cannot find anything the T1 does wrong especially when I use the Decware. It is a super headphone. Another can that has promise is the HE6 but you are limited to a speaker amp and after I put a week on those I will be able to determine if it is better than all the top cans I have heard but for me the T1 gets me closer to the live event.

Good for you, Frank.  I'm glad you find the T1 to your liking.  My UP-OCC re-cabled DT880/600 arrived the other day, and the T1--for me--are a rapidly receding memory.  : )

So how did you vote?  I need to know if you are in the right or in the wrong.  ::evil_devil_smile::

I already voted (for 1 high end), but I think ideally, I'd rather have 1 high end pair and 1 mid-fi. The mid-fi would be for portable use because I'm careless and they'd get banged up pretty easily. I also wouldn't feel comfortable bringing $1500 cans out in public everyday.
