portable AMP for Teclast t51 and Earsonics sm3

As Title,

I'd like to know which portable amp could be a good choice with the Tec and the sm3.

Is the neco soundlab dual amp v2 a good DAC considering the low price?

Thank you in advance.

Hmmm, people have been pretty adamant about the SM3 not needing an amp or sometimes not pairing well at all.  I assume you want to go LO is the issue.  I would look at the iBasso T3 or the Headstage Arrow.

The guy I bought my Headstage Arrow from used SM3's, he was using the money to upgrade his DAP.

That would be Bennyboy.  He bought a J3 and is ampless to his SM3 I believe.

Yep, Bennyboy. . .  It's a great amp and works really well with the HD650's - I'm amazed something so small can drive the hd650's so loud !

Interestingly enough, my S:Flo 2 can drive my HD650's fairly well.

If you want to take advantage of the Line Out, I would go with the iBasso T3D. It is the same as the T3 but includes a digital volume control.

If you have a little more money, many people like the S:Flo 2 to Headstage Arrow combination.

On the other hand, most people don't think the SM3 gains much from an amp. You might want to leave your portable rig ampless. If you do this, you can invest in a home rig and/or get a custom remold.

If you are going to get the neco soundlab dual amp v2, keep in my mind that you would only be able to use this at home, and it would only improve your sound quality if paired with your computer. The Line Out of the Teclast T51 (S:Flo 2) does not bypass the internal amp. It would help if you would let us know how you plan to use this item.

Regardless, I think the two best DACs in that price range are the Nuforce uDac and the Musiland Monitor US 02.
