The HJE900 are definitely warm. Use complies with them or foam mod them and they can become very smooth too, eliminating the harsh highs problem(which mostly goes away after a lot of burn in anyways).

Well, I've heard both, and there is a reason I didn't recommend the HJE900 (at least not based on OP's stated needs).

True,but there are still some online retailers that have some in stock and if they are an authrorized dealer klipsch will honer the warranty
