To the OP, where in Finland are you? There's only a handful of reliable good artists here. And sadly, there are many many nice portfolios online here in Finland that look good but really aren't. Matzon, Legacy, Hexa, certain artists at Tatuata for a start, can be trusted. Also don't nix the idea of going to Stockholm. My personal favorite is Ian The Boy at Stockholm Classic Tattoo. Petri Syjälä does photoreal, but that depends on how well you think photoreal tats will stand the test of time. Lasse at Indivual Ink has an unreal waiting list.

And it really doesn't hurt all that much.

If they're meaningful then I'm all for it. If it's something to fit in such as barbed wire or tribal along the bicep you'll just look like a tool.

I'm pretty fond of Asian-styled lightly colored tattoos, but like Kirosia, I'm a little bit too indecisive to settle on a design. It's a big commitment ;)

Wow! Maybe I was wrong. Maybe the right person can pull off tasteful tattooing at 70. Get this girl a swimsuit and magazine cover!

Yeah, maybe. But this is a real tool:

this is a great tattoo idea (at least until the next major paradigm shift):

Well you should go with what the other guy said. You are young, you don't take lots of things for granted for sure, and will you ink your body with something you never know how you'll like it in the future. So, first get something for the time being, I mean something you can erase, in the future you can even do something else...

I need to see that as a tattoo.

the only thing worse than an ironic t-shirt, is an ironic tattoo

That should make it an easy sale to the local hipsters.

Go to a tattoo festival and check out the artists' work.  Get some ideas.  I don't have a tat, but I certainly wanted to get one after seeing some of the amazing work of some of the artists at the one festival I went to.

Tramp stamps and white trash warning signs, IMHO.

I think the pig/carrot is only kinda allright but more importantly I would consider the size of things. The hide factor may come in handy and you can still enjoy that tattoo for you only. Personally I find most tattoos quite repulsive. Mostly when people have adjusted their clothes to be sure everyone can see it. The breast machinery is cool.. in an art album.

Choose wisely!
