Want a good pair of headphones for around $200

Thread Starter

Hi, I'm sorry for posting this topic if someone else already did, but I didn't look through all of the threads.

Anyway, I'm interested in buying a pair of headphones or earbuds around $200 that produce accurate sound because I have a lot of FLAC files on my computer. My preference are headphones that have a very warm sound to them, but I still want all around sound to be balanced with good sound stage. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you.

Oh and I should also point out that I listen to a lot of rock (Beatles, Who, Queen, The Doors, etc.) acoustic, classical, some techno and some hip-hop

Warm sound coming up!

Audio Technica ES9As....  get em. It's exactly what you're looking for.  =)

If it's anything like my ESW10JPNs, then they are tubey sounding goodness.

I won't recommend anything for neutral sound, because I don't enjoy such headphones. I see neutral headphones as tools, not instruments of pleasure ;)

I don't know whether you have the rest of the gear already, asuming you do not I would recommend a Grado SR225i
