E7 fakes already?

I recently bought a E7 from Micca...and the HPO isnt up to par as going through LOD or using it as a USB DAC so i decided to get a LOD for my fuze.... searched fiio and found E7's for buy it now for 40 and bidding starting at 27.... was wondering if someone could shed some light on this.... mainly a Fiio rep or something

As you see in the listing, shipping is $45, so it's still likely they're legit. I don't think that's ebay legal though.

It's a way of dealing with the increasing ebay costs. I don't believe ebay gets a percentage of the total cost, just the bid, so some sellers may jack up the shipping cost to get their actual wanted price...quite sure it's against ebay rules though...

Hi,

 

As others have chimed in, those look like "legit" products that are being sold with artificially high shipping fees. This is not allowed but eBay is very poor at policing this so the practice is prolific, especially with Hong Kong sellers.

 

The best way to avoid counterfeits is to buy from the sellers listed on FiiO's website, and from the same country as you are in if you can.

 

As for the LOD for the Fuze, I'd recommend that you take a look at a FiiO L6. :)
