I'm moving on up to the east side, so I'm selling my Westone UM2's. They are the black edition. The only flaw I can see on them is that the rubber sleeves at the area where the cables meet the earphone housings are splitting slightly on the last... uh... "ring", and those clear sleeves are also slightly discolored from sun exposure. It doesn't affect usability or performance at all, but I guess it's noticeable if you examine them up close. The sound is perfect and the cables are still coiled tightly. And if something does go wrong down the line, remember that Westone's repair policy is extremely generous. (I called them last year and told them that I stepped on my two-year-old pair of UM1's and snapped the tubes off. They fixed them for free, and they didn't even ask for a receipt or purchase date or anything.)
These earphones ship au naturale — no tips, as I'm down to my last pair (though it's possible I have some non-Comply tips stored away somewhere). There is also no box. However, you will get a wax remover tool, a 1/8"-to-1/4" adapter, and a very nice Maximo IEM case that another user sent to me.
Price is $155 $150 $145 shipped in the continental US via PayPal gift payment. If you are out of that territory, drop me a PM and we'll work it out.
Cheers
