SOLD

I am selling an Enlightened Audio Designs DSP-7000 MKII DAC.  This is an older DAC but is still a quality piece of gear.  The fact that it's older is why you can buy it at around 1/10th the price of what it was new!

I am the second owner with the first being FallenAngel.  Here's a link to the original post: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/483665/sold-ead-dsp-7000-mkii.  I also will be including the BNC to digital coax adapter.

It sounds great and extends well into both sides of the spectrum.  Though it is solid state it doesn't sound sterile.  It adds some warmth to the music and is a very dynamic unit.  And though it has the ability to make the music very smooth you don't get the feeling that it's adding anything to the music that isn't there already.  It has a fantastic natural sound, transparency and detail retrieval.

And as I said this is a quality unit.  21 pounds of quality.  And yes it does weigh about 21 pounds!  I know you can't always tell a component's quality by the weight but it is often a good indicator.

Here are some pics: http://picasaweb.google.ca/105355121080423897750/EADD7000MKII#

It's in near mint condition with just some scratching along the top of the faceplate.  I tried to isolate it in the pictures so you can see exactly what I mean.  Otherwise, as you can see, it's pretty much unmarked.

I would be keeping it as I really do like it but I'm making some changes in my setup that has made this DAC redundant.  As stated in the thread title the price is SOLD.  Which, if you checked out the link I provided to FallenAngel's original FS post is a significant discount from what I bought it from him for.  But I don't like having my FS stuff hang around.  PM me with any questions and I thank everyone for their interest.
