Chances of damage to iMod and amp due to wrong LOD

Okay, I own an iMod and ALO RX amp and use the ALO blackgate LOD. However, while I was away for a week, my brother was using my iMod and he did not know that he was meant to use the correct LOD. Instead he used the normal LOD from ALO (which I use on my regular iPod) without the blackgates on my iMod for about 5 hours in total at the default volume of the amp.

I'm not too worried about the damage on my SE530's because that is easily replacable but what are the chances that my amp and iMod dac will be destroyed or damaged. If there were any damage what will be the effects and how obvious will it be?

I'm assuming you've not yet inspected your iMod? I wouldn't have a clue if it would damage it but there sure is heck one way to find out. Use the thing.

I have tested it again and I seriously cannot tell the difference. However, ALO and Redwineaudio has stressed this issue so much and playing back for 5 hours using the wrong LOD has to have some effect wouldn't it? Either nothing has happened or that I am really that lucky that nothing has happened or my ears cannot sense the damage done.

But I what I really want to know what sort of damage occurs, like does my amp, IEMS or DAC get fried in the worse case scenario.

My advice would be to email both ALO and Redwineaudio and see what they say.
I'm sure in time a user will post, until then call in the professionals.
