Has anyone else gave this album a listen?
I really enjoyed "Set Yourself on Fire" and "In Our Bedroom After the War", so I got very excited when my friend told me that Stars has released a new album.
While listening to a .flac rip of the album, all I could think of was the subpar recording/mastering quality of the album.
If it makes any sense, I like the songs themselves, but they sound so muddy.
The parts IMO that 'highlights' the recording quality are 2:10, when the drums come in on 3rd track, the entire 4th track, and 1:33 of the 10th track.
