Here for sale are a pair of Used, multi award winning "Bowers & Wilkins 685 bookshelf speakers" in a wooden "Wenge" veneer. The speakers are in flawless condition, and i mean "FLAWLESS" - i have inspected the speakers time and time again looking for any minor scratches and so far i have found nothing, they are pretty much brand new even though i have had them since the 3rd March 2009. For the whole duration of their life with me they have sat proud on a custom shelf that i made specifically for them to fit with my room and the rest of my system. I am selling them (along with the rest of my setup) to help fund my university expenses.
These speakers are amazing, I have enjoyed re-listening to my whole music collection along with watching movies and they have done nothing but make me smile. Even my mates compliment me on my speakers every time they come over and to be honest I am really sad to see them go as i re-decorated my whole room to match the colour scheme of them. I bought them from "Seven Oaks - Sound and Vision" in Exeter and still have the original receipt with my deposit and payment which i will include with the sale.
The speakers come with all the manuals and parts that originally came with them including the foam plugs to soften the bass output from the flow port, the right/ light dust covers for the terminals at the back, gold plated connectors for the terminals when not using "Bi-Wiring" and the user manual to help aid set up and to get the most out of these speakers.
Two things i must point out are that i do not have the original box for these speakers as i never thought i would be getting rid of them but you have my word that I will take the up most care in wrapping and protecting these speakers so they get to you in the amazing condition that they are in. Also I have stuck the self adhesive transparent rubber feet to the bottom of each speaker (these came with the speakers and you can see them in the photos.
